Impressive mountain peaks, spectacular waterfalls, glistening mountain lakes and picturesque villages – this circular route showcases the wonderful landscape of the Jungfrau Region in all its glory. Setting off from the quaint village of Grindelwald, you discover the world-famous mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and some of Switzerland’s most spectacular scenery.
The 3-day e-MTB loop is incredibly varied. You ride from one postcard motif to the next as you pass the deep blue waters of Lake Brienz and the legendary Reichenbach Falls, climb the Grosse Scheidegg and enjoy an exhilarating descent back to Grindelwald. With an e-MTB, you can relax on your adventure with more energy to take in your surroundings.
The Eiger e-MTB loop starts and ends in Grindelwald at the foot of the mighty Eiger mountain and its historic north face. The route follows well-signposted trails which are great fun, even if you are a relatively inexperienced rider. Along the route, you can charge your bike at one of the numerous charging stations and tuck into some delicious regional cuisine while you wait. Last but not least, don’t forget to pack your camera! You’ll have plenty of chances to use it on this trip.
You can choose to ride this adventure unsupported or with a little extra help. There are numerous mountain inns en route who are happy to welcome bikers. If you prefer to ride completely care-free, then you can book the ride as a tour package which includes three overnight stays, three dinners, luggage transfer, and e-bike hire. With everything taken care of, you can focus on the spectacular scenery as you hit the trail.
