Llançà Summer Rides - exploring new corners of the Costa Brava

The town of Llançà is a perfect place to spend a few summer days, where you can enjoy the beach and the mountains that surround the Costa Brava. Why not take the opportunity to explore new corners and roads that until now you did not know?

From this coastal town you have several route options; you can choose to go north and cross into France along the coast, you can head inland and get lost in the flattest area of ​​l'Empordà and its wetlands, or you can do shorter routes where you can accumulate a lot of climbing and enjoy incredible views of both the coast and the Pyrenees.

My favourite parts of these rides include the climb to Sant Pere de Rodes, both the slope of Port de la Selva with its beautiful views and many corners, as well as the more bearable, less busy and also very beautiful Vilajuïga. I'd also really recommend riding to the monastery and taking a look around there too.

Other areas that I really liked were the road that runs along the coast in the direction of France and allows you to cross the border while enjoying amazing views, while visiting small villages by the sea and the must-see Cadaqués, one of the most beautiful towns in Catalonia. From this town, you can visit the Cap de Creus Lighthouse.
