Verwallrunde

Verwallrunde: Hiking for 7 days and sleeping in 6 cabins. The Verwallrunde starts in Pettneu am Arlberg and leads to the Edmund-Graf-Hütte. From there it goes over the Schmalzgrubenscharte to the Niederelbehütte; From there to Darmstädter Hütte on the Scheibler to Constance hut, New Heilbronner hut to… voir plus

Après avoir atteint l'Edmund-Graf-Hütte en début d'après-midi et nous être renforcés, nous avons grimpé 170 hm en direction du Riffler jusqu'à ce que nous atteignions un beau plateau pour la vue dans toutes les directions. C'était le même chemin du retour. Je n'ai enregistré que la descente.

Stage 2: From the Edmund-Graf-Hütte to the Niederelbehütte: From the Edmund-Graf-Hütte, the trail climbs steeply up past the Schmalzgrubensee, onto the Schmalzgrubenjoch. From there it goes steeply downhill, where the ibex and shortly afterwards welcomed the marmots to the Niederelbehütte.

Stage 3: From the Niederelbehütte to the Darmstädter Hütte. This route is only possible in good weather and leads over the Kiel weather hut on steep paths and rope insured descent on the Hoppe-Seyler-Weg, Advokatenweg on Seekopf over and steep descent to Darmstädter hut. Stage 4: From the Darmstädter Hütte we take a partially rope-insured way to the Kuchenjöchli. In good weather you can climb the Scheibler (2978 hm). From Kuchenjöchli it goes down numerous bends down to the Konstanzer hut. The deepest hut on the Verwallrunde (1,650 hm). The long descent is very exhausting

The 5th stage leads over the Wannenjöchli, past the Wannensee over the Rosanna to the Neue Heilbronner Hütte. Absolute highlight is the Wannensee!

Long and exhausting stage which, as on the previous tours, runs on narrow mountain paths, this time through impressive heathland, on the Wormser Höhenweg. Last stage: Descent from Wormser Hütte to Hochjochbahn and then by taxi back to Pettneu. Great tour, great cabins, relaxed hosts, great food on all cabins and not crowded. On our stage from the Neue Heilbronner Hütte to the Wormser Hütte we only met 3 hiking groups.
