Aspromonte ... a fascinating mountain range: hot, rough, wild, dry! Komoot is only partially familiar with dort. I got lost completely because the advertised route didn't exist and I didn't want to believe it ... that's why the long journey took me.

But I can advise everyone to try a tour when they come to Calabria!

I was Caulania too - but "only" by car ... but given the narrow streets it is a challenge to drive through :)

Unfortunately the tour ended abruptly due to a breakdown, so that I was deprived of the deserved descent with a wonderful view. So about 40 km descent or drive home on the coast are missing ... the last two photos show the entire planned tour.

Note: You have to walk to the two waterfalls shown in the photos.

The way I drove the tour, everything is paved. From Montalto in the direction of Gambarie the road has potholes for about 10 km, so you have to be careful. Also from Crocifisso di Zervo until you reach the road that goes up from San Luca. Here the last 3 km are bad, but there is still asphalt. Therefore… voir plus
