A nice house round and the Stötzlbergalm is always worth a visit. After the descent, it goes over the Putzengraben to the Böndelsee and on to the Buchberg to Goldegg. From there via Schernberg to Schwarzach. Over the Niederuntersberg to the Plankenau and back.

Today it goes from St. Johann along the bike path to Urreiting and then via the Marschl supply route to Forsteck. At the Forsteck junction, continue to the left and after approx. 2 km left to the last climb to the Heinrich Kiener Haus. From there it is a crisp ascent but it is worth it.
