Vogtland Panoramaweg

I had already got to know some parts of the Vogtlandpanoramaweg on individual tours in the Vogtland and decided to walk it completely.



Now I have put this project into practice (at least part 1) and started in Ölsnitz.



This first stage, which was a bit shorter because of the journey by train, was - in… voir plus

The second stage on the Vogtlandpanoramaweg has reconciled me again.



Today the two baths Bad Elster and Bad Brambach were on the program. Bad Elster is a wonderful health resort with a beautifully renovated, historical building structure, many parks and various hotels and health clinics. Definitely worth… voir plus

Unfortunately, this stage was a bit tough again. The Wirtsberg with the impressive refuge was very nice, the way around Markneukirchen was boring.



There would also have been a "cultural variant" * through * the city, which would probably have been more interesting.

On this stage it got more mountainous. The VPW partly ran together with the Klingenthaler Höhensteig, which I ran (shortened) in January 2020 (komoot.de/tour/110988411).



It was nice to see that the steep passages, where I had to take several breaks a year and a half ago, could now be walked in one go.

On this stage I deviated almost completely from the VPW path, because I wanted to see the topaz rock Schneckenstein and see the Vogtlandsee again (komoot.de/tour/110988411).



Topaz was extracted from the topaz rock, which was used in the topaz garnish in the Green Vault (still there!) And the English royal… voir plus

Après avoir terminé environ les deux tiers du Vogtland Panoramaweg l'année dernière, je veux maintenant le terminer en trois étapes.



Le premier passe par un sentier plutôt agréable et légèrement montagneux depuis Auerbach/V. à Mylau. Je remarque qu'il y a beaucoup plus de forêts d'épicéas ici que, par… voir plus

Aujourd'hui, l'étape du roi du Vogtland Panoramaweg le long des deux lignes de vie du Vogtland, le Göltzsch et le Weißen Elster.



De Mylau, il passe par le Köhlersteig (du nom du chercheur local Johann August Ernst Köhler) sous l'impressionnant Göltzschtalbrücke jusqu'au confluent du Göltzsch et de la… voir plus

Malheureusement, la dernière étape pour moi sur la route circulaire du Vogtland Panoramaweg était un peu ennuyeuse et le temps nuageux ne l'a pas amélioré.



J'ai ensuite suivi le sentier de grande randonnée Eisenach-Budapest pour la seconde moitié de l'étape afin de la raccourcir.
