Nord-Ostsee-Kanal 🚢🚴‍♂️

Today we went from Cuxhaven on Brunsbüttel to the Kiel Canal and there for a few more kilometers along. The track was much nicer than yesterday, but a good 80 kilometers of which strong headwind. I'm afraid that will not improve tomorrow along the canal. Will probably have to test which side goes better.

So, today is the bike tour unfortunately already over. It is more important to be at home, but now I have the certainty also three days headwind are feasible, just not funny.

The Kiel Canal is actually pretty and idyllic, but the underground (mostly about 1 meter long concrete slabs) is really extremely… voir plus

That was actually only the short way from the station Cuxhaven to the campsite. Since I shortened this day from Bremerhaven to Cuxhaven by train only this part remained to drive.

No really bike ride, but the conclusion of the bike short break.

Actually it was planned to carry out Cuxhaven, but in the heat and the headwind it makes no sense. So from Bremerhaven to Cuxhaven by train.

I must confess the lap around the Jade Bay I had imagined more beautiful. Landside down the dike is very monotonous.
