Mein Bergischer Weg

As for forest and meadows, the tour was beautiful. The great experience was lessened by really busy roads that you had to cross or along which you walked for a while. Luckily the woods are predominant!

Somehow we did not find the right way in Bensberg because of missing marking. Therefore we came across the Milchborntal directly in Moitzfeld on the Bergisch way. As compensation, we hiked from Forsbach just under 4 km to Hoffnungsthal.

Yes, it was, all very gray-brown. But the mud was worse last week. 🙃

Thank you, Bettina! It was a really great tour and very varied. When arriving and departing by public transport of a good 1.5 hours each, the length of the route is worthwhile, even if I am a bit sore now. 😉

The actual end of the stage is Solingen Burg. However, due to adverse circumstances (DB 😉) we started in Gräfrath a little later than planned. The remaining 6 km then follow in combination with stage 5.

The stage itself is wonderful and leads through many shady valleys, but also offers some decent inclines… voir plus

In very autumnal weather, the rest of the 4th stage and part of the 5th stage of the Bergisches Weg went today. Schloß Burg is really nice, where you should visit again, because that didn't fit today. There are a few stairs to climb between Burg and Rüdenstein.

Since we wanted to save a return journey for the last stage, we simply hiked through stages 13 and 14 in one go.



It was a long tour, but it was very beautiful and varied and in the end it was rewarded with a great view after initially overcast skies.

Compléter! C'était la dernière étape du Bergisches Weg qui me manquait encore. En plein milieu et vraiment beau, même ou surtout maintenant en automne. ??
