In the last 3 days it was tough to hard up the mountains, it was more than 2700m ascent. There was a lot of activity at Heubach on the Rosenstein ruins. So far I've been lucky with the weather, even if the wind was pretty cold on the plateau at night. I was disappointed when the restaurant was closed… voir plus

Set up the tent outside of Owen. A gate from the Celtic period (600-400 BC) was being reconstructed near Erkenbrechtsweiler. The Hohenneuffen castle ruins always in view. From Bad Urach it is only 2 km uphill to the Urach waterfalls. To see the waterfall well, you should have photographed it from below. To get off again - another time. On the plateau you come across a large airfield for glider pilots near Übersberg.

On some of the climbs it is noticeable that uprooted trees simply stay where they are, this looks wild and natural.

On the Bolberg there is a refuge of the Swabian Alpine Club from 1930. I was lucky with the weather, a strong thunderstorm just passed.

One night not in the tent - I stayed with my relatives. From Jungingen it goes up again steeply. The weather forecast was not particularly inviting for hiking. It is only 1km from Hülen to Kapfenburg. At the Kapfenburg I missed the junction and walk down to Lauchheim. After a coffee I find it's the wrong way. So back again - it was 7km and a 20% incline for a coffee, detour.
