Como is located on the southwestern shore of the lake and is well worth a visit. Even if it's just an afternoon. The sights can be found mainly in the center and are within walking distance very easy to reach.

The ice cream in the "Cremeria Bolla 1893" is delicious.

This villa has already been the location for several films. The area is magical and worth a visit.

Bellagio is located at the tip of the two arms of the lake and thus in the geographical center of Lake Como. It is a village that has retained a somewhat old-fashioned style. At the beginning of April it is still very quiet, but in the summer months the day visitors come in droves by bus.

The important thing first: In Gravedona you get in "La Carapina" an excellent and inexpensive ice cream. This Gelateria is located directly on the lake promenade and you can enjoy there on the benches under the trees the ice and the view.

One of the most beautiful villas and gardens on Lake Como.

Long tunnels and an opaque system of highways have made it difficult for us to find Menaggio's beautiful lakeside promenade. But it was worth it. Menaggio is a beautiful town with an attractive center, the aforementioned lake promenade with pier for the ferries of Lake Como and of course the obligatory gelateria.

Varenna, "La Perla del Lago di Como", is located on the east side of the lake and is an enchanting and tranquil small town. At least in the spring.
