Welcome to our weekend adventure series, where we present a thrilling selection of trails and roads around major European cities. These Tours are easily accessible from the city centre and can be tackled either in a single day or split to offer a full weekend experience. So pack your gear and start exploring – because adventure starts here.
In this Collection, we bring you three truly epic hiking adventures just a stone's throw from Milan. Well, yes: Milan may be in the heart of the Po Valley, but just head north by train or car and you'll be at the foot of the mountains in no time – and what mountains they are!
These three treks are as spectacular as they are challenging, taking you to some of the most beautiful places in the region. The High and Low Grigne Traverse takes you along high mountain trails on the wild rocky ridges of the Southern and Northern Grigna. On the Resegone Ridge Trail, you conquer all nine peaks of this beautiful and famous mountain. The last Tour, in contrast, is a long scenic trek from the Larian Triangle Ridge to the Corni di Canzo and Lecco's enchanting lakefront, which has incredible views over both parts of Lake Como.
In each stage description, we point out huts or other accommodation where you can stop to eat or spend the night, as well as options to shorten the route if you wish. You can still modify the routes to suit your requirements though.
As mentioned earlier, these are real adventures that require a good level of training and sure-footedness. Occasionally, you'll also have to tackle technical sections on trails equipped with cables for safety. You don’t necessarily need specific equipment, but you need to be confident in the mountains. Read the descriptions of each Tour carefully to see if it's right for you. You'll also find suggestions for modifying the Tour to suit your needs.
To avoid finding snow or ice on the summit, which would require mountaineering equipment, the best time to undertake these adventures is between late May and mid-September. Always remember to check the forecast before you go.

Il doit son nom à son profil particulier, composé de neuf pics qui ressemblent à la lame d'une "grande scie" (resegun, en dialecte lombard). Les jours les…
