The Heckel brewery in Waischenfeld is one of the smallest breweries in Germany, as the beer is only served in the tavern. There is no bottle sale, but of course you can also bring your own jar and take the tasty beer home with you. In my opinion, one of the best beers in Upper Franconia is served here. The opening times are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday from 4.30pm to 10pm. Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
