The interior was designed around 1770 by Peter Wagner. While the high altar erected by Peter Wagner fell victim to a fire in 1867, the pulpit carved by him is still preserved. The present high altar came in 1879 from Hammelburg to Windheim and, like the burnt-down altar, contains a crucifixion group. It was built around the year 1680 in Baroque style.
The side altars received in 1909 a Sacred Heart figure (left) and 1911 a statue of Mary (right). The organ was installed in 1770 as a used instrument in the middle of the double gallery in a housing from 1780.The church has three bells, one of which was cast in 1928 and two added in 1960.Source: Wikipedia
