Characteristic is the covered porch with four wooden pillars. The half-timbered floor was repaired in 1930 under the direction of the Kreisbaumeister Koen / Bernkastel and studded with slate. In the belfry with the curly helmet hung until the years after the Second World War, the Gemeindeglöckchen, for many decades, the citizens called for community meetings and public announcements. Originally, the lobby was clad with a slatted wall facing the street.For many years, two small rooms on the ground floor served as "hostel to the home" (nohtunterkunft) for hikers and beggars, called "Tippelbrüder". On the upper floor were up to the transformation workshop and apartment of the plumber family Schneider. For many years, meetings of the municipal council have been held regularly in the community hall.
