L'automne au bord du Wörsbach

For the circular walk you can start on the parking lot in Gnadenthal.
Follow the signs for the bike path Emsbachtal-Wörsbachtal. It initially goes on a paved road from the village Gnadenthal in the direction of Idstein 1200 m on the bike path. The asphalt ends at the edge of the forest. After another 380 m forest path, the cycle path crosses over a bridge the Wörsbach after 80 m left and thus parallel to follow the brook. Here begins the most beautiful part of the natural stream that is surpassed only from the other side of the river. After 900 m on the west side, a wooden bridge spans the stream. If you follow the cycle path you will reach the seminar house "Neumühle" after 400 minutes. Unfortunately, the part of history as a mill in the past and is only to be guessed. Just the proximity of the creek to the building stimulates the imagination. The way back to the turning point shortly after the previously crossed wooden bridge leads to the same 400 m. Here it is now a footpath on the eastern shore. Obviously, this is not often used. So it goes through high grass and over-lying branches. You will encounter marshy ground which is fed by rivulets coming from the slope. Overall, these obstacles can be mastered with the right footwear. After the distance on the other side of the river, which has been crossed on the way there, the hiker reaches the first bridge and thus is on the direct way back to Gnadenthal. The approximately 6 km long round, which is easy to walk in 1.5 hours, can be completed in Gnadenthal in the café (self-service with a box office of confidence) on the terrace with a hot drink and cake.
