This section is really beautiful, not only from the road surface, but also from the buildings.

The Graphische Viertel covers Leipzig's eastern suburbs and is shaped by the centuries-old significance of book printing in Leipzig. Due to increasing print jobs for Leipzig printing companies, many companies relocated their headquarters to the east.
Among the first publishers were Breitkopf & Härtel Verlag (founded 1719) and the Friedrich Hofmeister Musikverlag (1807). Other well-known companies followed: Brockhaus Verlag, Reclam, Teubner, the Bibliographic Institute, printing Giesecke & Devrient, printing press Karl Krause (polygraph), etc.1900 were listed in more than 2,200 companies of the book trade and book trade in Leipzig, about 95 percent of these companies were located within the Graphic Quarter.
The district is part of the UNESCO initiative Leipzig Music Trail.
The music trail is a 5.1 km long way through the city center and consists of 23 stations of musical life in Leipzig. Paved markers help with pathfinding.
