Today Rita planned and invited a tour in Alsace. Five of us had a nice day with the castles as special highlights.

On the first half of the tour we also passed several bunkers on the Maginot Line.

Nice round, I know too. Unfortunately the weather was not so good with us, when we were on the Vieux Windstein it was a bit tricky to climb around. You took great pictures as usual.

Yes, climbing around the castle was a lot of fun for me. It's like a little maze there.

Yes Kauai, I'm always running in the area ...... think tomorrow it's nar Schönau from there to Alsace I want to know everything but everything looks different from another area

Nicolet, the path itself was nothing special, but there are some interesting ruins and rocks in the area with a view, have a look around Obersteinbach ... it's no problem, you can extend your tour endlessly.
