The 520km long Frankenweg starts at the "German hiking hub" in Blankenstein (Saale). It leads through the Franconian Forest, Obermain Jura, Franconian Switzerland, the Nürnberger Land and the Altmühltal Nature Park.

Am I correct in assuming that you will complete the entire Frankenweg? I'll be there (at least on Komoot) wish you a good time from the start (which has already taken place)!
Hello almond kernel, thank you! I definitely want to walk the Frankenweg to the Nürnberger Land and then decide whether I can do the rest of it. But everything in bites of 2 to 5 stages. I am glad that you are part of it virtually!
