At the end of the heather blossom season, we went back to the tourist center of the Lüneburg Heath - to Wilsede. I have never started from Döhle before and lo and behold, as soon as you turn off the main path it suddenly becomes quiet and that in the middle of the weekend.
The Totengrund can be admired…
