Um die Sorpe

Here is a piece of pure pleasure cycling. Starting from the dam along the paved path along the south bank with an infinite number of curves, the path leads to Amecke. When the Corona period is over, an ice cream van should be at the end of the south bank path, which is of course shared with other cyclists, inliners and hikers. From there, the bike path goes back to the Sorpedamm next to the busy road on the north shore of Lake Sorpese. On the way you pass some campsites, at the junction to Mellen you will find miles, a nice destination, from whose terrace you have a great view of the Sorpesee.

If you want to do a quick tour, the Sorpesee is the right place for you. Hardly any gradients and even without an e-bike :)

The lake can be circled on foot, by bike or with inline skates.
