Randonnée - Incontournable (Segment)
Ascent is really nice. But I assume that the name (red white red) is an old name. I think it was T4 (blue-white-blue, poked here in Komoot),
The inspection of the section is not very easy. In July, some snowfields are still available and therefore very good sure-footedness is needed. The whole way away is basically only a boulder field with an inclination of 40 ° on average. Partly you have to climb. In certain channels there is a risk of falling rocks.
But despite all, the climb offers action and really fun. My sister and I needed about 1.5 hours, but passed in flight. I can only recommend.

Difficulty level in good weather conditions from T3 (demanding mountain hiking) to T4 (alpine hiking) if there are still snow fields.
Only for sure-footed people. Alternatively, there is an easier climb from the southeast.
The ascent pays off with the great view from the Gaishorn!

Beware of stones and hikers walking ahead / oncoming. The climb is pretty steep. If you have problems with loose / gravelly ground in this combination, you should avoid the path. In 2018, the path had slipped extremely badly, and that too should be expected.
