Großer Waldstein

“The bowl”, which marks the highest point of the Großer Waldstein, is particularly spectacular. It owes its name to a cauldron-shaped depression on the highest rock and the observation pavilion of the same name, which was built there in 1851. The ascent is not entirely without, it goes over narrow stairs, ladders and steps. Beware of rain and slippery conditions. The view on top of the "bowl" is terrific.

Between the nature reserve and impressive rock formations, it can be reached via stone and wooden steps.
Not suitable for prams, sturdy shoes are recommended!
