  • Schloss Hamborn is a castle complex of about 300 hectares in the borough of Borchen (district Paderborn) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The complex consists of a main building, built of natural stone and featuring elements of the Weser Renaissance, as well as numerous former farm buildings that extend across the extensive grounds. The castle Hamborn is in the local situation Castle Hamborn the Borchener district Kirchborchen on the limestone ridge of the Schossberg at / German Grundkarte 1: 5000 and is located about 20 to 30 m above a forest-lined loop of the Ellerbach.
