The Baumgarten Bridge was opened by Friedrich Wilhelm in 1676. The bridge was then made of wood and was 120 meters long. During wartime this bridge was blown up by fear (1945).
The bridge was then rebuilt as a temporary solution and rebuilt in 1950. In 1989 this bridge was torn down again and replaced by a "modern one".27 juin 2017
