Randonnée - Incontournable
Old-established excursion restaurant with a wonderful terrace and a great view of the mill pond. From the Currywurst (super delicious) on the terrace to the festive Komplettmenue here really everything is available. Right next door is a mini golf course with boat rental.

The Tüschenbroicher Mühle is the first mill on the Schwalm after the source and has an overshot water wheel with which two grain grinding cycles were alternately driven.
The upstream mill pond is fed by several smaller rivulets in addition to the Schwalm. The first information about the compulsory mill belonging to Tüschenbroich Castle (i.e. the neighboring farmers were forced to have their grain milled here) dates back to 1506. It was owned by the Counts of Spiering until 1834. The now dilapidated grinder was used until the 1940s.
A pub was connected since 1863 and is still operated as a modern restaurant today. The liquor license for this was granted to Wilhelm Gellissen by the royal government on December 29, 1862. In 1869, Johann Hermann Königs received the liquor license.
The mill was placed under protection on April 1st, 1985 as a "restaurant and former water mill in Tüschenbroich" by the city of Wegberg as a monument (serial no. 119).

Next to the restaurant with the very good kitchen is the newly renovated, but ancient grain mill with half-timbered walls (see photo for this walk), which is worth a short stop.
