!!! ACHTUNG GEFÄHRLICHE RINNEN !!!

Unfortunately NOT a highlight, but a WARNING to all who drive this section: I found today that the 5 slight bows were removed and instead 6 transverse channels with a depth of about 20 cm have emerged !! When Uphill so anyway low speed is taken and what is far worse: when downhill these grooves can be a real fall problem !! Please drive carefully and brake in time. It concerns the section from the quarry to Hubertusbuche on the Rothaarsteig. The sense and purpose has not yet opened up for me - I do not hope this is an action against mountain bikers to slow us down. If so, at least warning signs should be put up.UPDATE 16.11.2018: there is now a sign !!! (after the quarry on the Tiefenrother height and right in front of the first cross-channel)!UPDATE 23/11/2018: on the way below the viewing platform in the direction of Wilgersdorf (just before branch Wachholder) are also two gutters - with information sign!

Thanks to Calli for the warning. I have noticed this dangerous nonsense already and slowed down thanks to the sign just in time.

In the meantime, the channels are no longer as deep, but caution is still required. On the descent you can keep to the right in front of the channels (driveway on the left). It's almost flat there. (1.6.2020)
