Luitpoldturm

From the Luitpold tower with its almost 35 meters high you have in beautiful weather a beautiful panoramic view almost over the entire Palatinate Forest.
Alone the view down makes you with a fear of heights like me problems, but he is already since 1909 and is so massive that he is without problems for sure so long again. 😉

So nothing like the Luitpold tower and up with you. It is worth it ..

The Luitpold Tower is named after the Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria. The tower stands on the 607 m high Weißenberg. The tower can be climbed over 166 steps and then offers a 360-degree panorama of the top class. The tower is over 30 meters high.

There are many beautiful views in the Palatinate Forest, but this one is really special because many striking spots of the whole region and beyond can be seen from here (if the weather is good, of course)!

At the top of the tower you have a great view around the Palatinate Forest, with good views you can even look up to the low mountains Donnersberg, Taunus, Odenwald, Black Forest and Vosges in France.

Even with not so nice weather, the view is impressive!

Upstairs from Luitpoldturm you have a wonderful panoramic view over the Palatinate Forest. The wind whistles neatly up there and it can be cold.
