Falkensteiner Ufer

In summer - or if the temperatures allow it - this is a good place for barbecuing, chilling and swimming on and on the beach. There is a separate area for dogs.

The route runs from Blankenese to the Wedel power station, along the Elbe through the forest and over a steep coast.

Here you have a beautiful view of the Elbe and the passing large ships. It is one of the most beautiful Elbe beaches on the Lower Elbe in Hamburg.

Nowhere else do you have such beautiful views of the Elbe. If you look at the water through the treetops, you think you are at the sea. The path on the sandy banks of the Elbe is reminiscent of Frisian islands and offers a real North Sea feeling. The Falkensteiner Ufer with its striking lighthouse is one of the most beautiful banks that the Elbe has to offer. Whether in spring, summer, autumn or winter, it is wonderful to take a walk on the Falkensteiner Ufer in every season. On hot days you can even jump into the Elbe.
