Today we got up at 3 a.m. and drove from Zurich to the canton of Schwyz. Here we wanted to climb the Druisberg.



It started in pitch dark night - and really steep. The path led in serpentines over steep steps up the mountain, at some point chains were added to the rock face and finally even a 10m high… voir plus

I hope I can start an early tour of the mountains this year.

Mountain hiking is just wonderful! Your great photos remind me of my childhood. At that time we had our tent in Piztal at 1600m altitude and from there we made wonderful hikes, e.g. to the Kaunergrat, to the Watze, or to the Portleswand. Thanks for your great photos! 👍 Still a lot

Very, very happy :) It is definitely worth it! But I would recommend taking the Druisberg summit with you ;-) You still go over the Forstberg summit anyway.
