@ Jan: yes, directly in Komoot, but necessarily in the browser. It is best to use a mouse on a PC or, if necessary, in Safari on the iPad.

All right! I'll try it out. So far I've always created our routes on the iPhone. I sometimes find the start / end point a bit complicated.
