From Dietzenbach first above Waldacker towards Rodgauer Badesee, where a member of the local fishing club, who was just opening up the area, invited us to take a few photos of the bathing lake from within.

From there it went on around Niederroden, a bit along the railway and then back on the other side… voir plus

Nice nature tour, the weather was also good, it seems. The bathing lake has a strange color. It reminds me a bit of the lime dissolved in the water on the upper reaches of the Isar. Maybe the "discoloration" is only due to the reflection in the sky ...

Thank you Reiner, the color is actually like that. The whole area is a huge excavation pit, in which gravel is still extracted today. Original Isar color.
