There used to be a dense forest on Blomenstein, where chestnuts and boletus mushrooms could be found in autumn. But the bark beetle has struck here too, so that it now looks quite bleak here. But you have good views, at least when the view is clear.

We also use the harvester and the mountains of wood are huge. Much of the wood goes to China. Globalization is crazy sometimes.

Maybe there will be more colorful forests soon, but we won't see that again. Still it is exciting to watch at work.

If there was a mountain in Lippe that is 1962m high, I would move there again in a heartbeat! ☺️😁
