The Ferdinandwarte is a worthwhile destination, the view of the Danube valley is great. The further route over the Giritzer is not really recommended. Again and again there is a beautiful view (Danube Valley, Wetterkreuzkirche, Göttweig Abbey, etc.), but overall it is a bland asphalt hack, only the descent…
