It shouldn't be a problem for MTB riders to follow this tour. I cannot recommend this tour for tricycles because of the frequent barriers with very narrow detours, and the trails are often very narrow and overgrown.

I wasn't up on Monte Schlacko, I have to come back here in winter.

... so the rabbits are more like that that you don't have to be afraid. 😆

The climb to Monte Schlacko is worthwhile. Former home. There my MTB test track 25 years ago. Access may only be possible via Hölderlinstr.

@Simone L: I tried it from Gerhard-Hauptmann-Strasse, which is closest. However, a new building and a site fence are blocking the way.

To the left of the new building a path should go in, was there on December 27th, 2020, did not come up to the summit when the path was icy, better if there is no ice age high, great view. you can also go up the street "Am Schneppenberg" and continue on a downhill route. There are prohibition signs from DEW.

Today was with Karin on Monte Schlacko, because I was interested in whether you could get there by mtb. Yes it works. Hölderlinstrasse Then through the sheet metal wall. There's a door in there. Then go up via S 0 Weg from the side. Wonderful all-round view.

Hello, yes from above Gerhard Hauptmann Weg the new building is unfortunately in the way. That was the easiest way to get up. But from Scheppenberg you can go up both left and right. @Horst (have finished) if you were to continue up behind the row of houses from Hauptmann Weg instead of down to Schneppenberg… voir plus
