After two weeks in Saxony, I had to do another good hike in the Black Forest. This hike follows the premium trail "Water, Forest and Meadow Path" for long stretches. Since the parking lots near the starting point were all occupied due to a city event (flea market?), I was allowed to park in the parking garage in the city center. So there were a few more kilometers and meters in altitude on the official route, which I also extended to include a detour to the Wölflesbrunnen and wild boar enclosure. If you want to save on parking fees, you can park at the Zavelstein hiking home and start the tour there (everything is well signposted, but from there you go downhill and then back up in the second part).
The most beautiful part of the hike is definitely the Rötelbachtal - the rush of the brook and natural paths included. The Stubenfelsen is reminiscent of the Palatinate Forest as well as Dahn and the surrounding area. Cultural highlights are certainly the Calw scaffold and the half-timbered houses in Calw. I didn't like the second part of the hike that much, where I went back to Calw on broad farm and forest roads. Conclusion: I personally like the premium trail "Der Teinacher" better, but I haven't regretted this hike because of the Rötelbachtal. The little frog I came across was also original. It's a shame that the Hermann Hesse Museum in Calw is closed until spring 2023 - that would have interested me very much.

Small historical tour through Mühlberg / Elbe, which I really liked. A memorial stone on the Elbe commemorates the miracle of Mühlberg in 2002, when the dams stopped and fortunately the city did not flood. Since then, a lot has been invested in flood protection. Also very nice is the Marienstern monastery with its old monastery church and the many old buildings in the city.

The district of Lampertswalde is particularly important because of the former manor grounds with the castle park and the village church, which was rebuilt in the baroque style in 1722. In 1948 the intact moated castle was demolished according to order 209 of the SMAD for the extraction of building material. The bridge to the island was preserved. The palm house, inspector's house and gardener's house were restored after the fall of the Wall.
This little tour goes through the village and through the apple alley back to the town center with the church and manor grounds. The tour is highly recommended, especially when the cafe in the manor grounds is open.

Small (cultural and historical) tour through the city of Belgern and into the Rolandpark and the Elbe ferry. I was very impressed by the church in Belgern and it was also accessible, which is not a matter of course in Saxony.
Otherwise there is an original Roland statue in front of the town hall and 14 copies of German Roland statues are in Rolandpark. If you are interested in the topic, you will find it here: belgernschildau.de/seite/164750/der_roland.html
The Elbe ferry was out of service due to flooding.
Otherwise this was my 300th tour with Komoot :-)

Small round through Strehla with city center, castle, church and castle park. The path also goes a bit along the Elbe - it is flooded, but ships are still sailing.
I found the robinia at Strehla Castle to be particularly interesting. This is a tree veteran and supposedly the strongest black locust in Germany or the oldest black locust in Saxony, see na-tour-denkmal.de/baumveteranen/367-april-2020-die-robinie-als-baum-des- year 2020

This was a short walk in Schildau in the footsteps of the "Schildbürger". If you want to know more about it, take a look at wikipedia: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schildb%C3%BCrger
A few signs in the village remind of the stories of the shield citizens who are said to have happened here in the area. There is also supposed to be a sign citizens' path, but it is unclear to me where it runs. A meaningful signage in the place is unfortunately missing (-> Schildbürger stop).
Very impressive is the old mulberry tree near the church. It doesn't matter whether it is the oldest or the second oldest mulberry tree in Germany, the tree is simply gigantic.
