I finally made this tour. For a year now, I've been toying with the Yetis Tour from Bergedorf to Lüneburg.
And it was worth it. The tour is just incredibly relaxing. Very quiet paths, hardly any people, but lots of nature.
Only on the route between Bardowick and Lüneburg did it get quite bumpy in the forest for a short time.
Bardowick should definitely be visited on the way. It is an incredibly beautiful and medieval village. It had a flair all of its own.

This afternoon I still felt like after a little tour - enjoying the sun and summer. Since I haven't planned a suitable little tour, I just looked for one here. That's when I came across this tour. She looked reasonably good from the pictures and I thought "why not?" Who could have guessed that this would be such a beautiful tour? That was pure summer in the country. I could hardly get enough of the wheat fields, flowers and butterflies.
At the beginning the route leads over villages with some traffic, but otherwise it was very quiet. At times I was alone in a wide hallway. Today I was able to watch a deer eating, watch storks in flight and a kitty that went for a walk with her master. That was too cute.
If you feel like a bit of speed in between, you can pess from Sülfeld. Super-developed route, zero vehicles, surrounded by beautiful nature. Finally, don't forget the ice cream. Yummi yummi ... 😊

Did you know that Max Schmeling, Ernst Tählmann and Hans Fallada lived in Eilbek? And that THE Rockefeller donated money for a church in Eilbek? There is a lot of interesting things to learn at the Eilbeker Round Table.Historical places, buildings and events in the Hamburg district of Eilbek are explained on the boards of the Eilbeck Round Table. Most of the boards are numbered and grouped into a tour, which also includes some blue memorial boards from the Hamburg board program. In 2010, 52 such tables were drawn up. But not all of them are up yet, more than 20 pieces are missing.
Nonetheless, the path was very interesting, with lots of nice corners and impressions.geschichtswerkstatt-wandsbek.de/eilbek/eilbeker-tafelrunde

Today was the day watering flowers with friends and at work. So that this doesn't feel like a duty, I just made a nice tour out of it and rediscovered old paths.
First it went on the Osterbek towards Höltigbaum, then on the Glinde-Trittau railway embankment to Bergedorf and from there through the Boberger dunes and lowlands back to the city. The tour was very relaxed and I often just rolled around to enjoy the chirping and twittering. A nice tour. Höltigbaum and Boberger Nierderungen are always recommended.PS: I tried the voice navigation today. It didn't always work that way and it often resulted in small detours. So if you want to copy the tour, you should pay attention to it. 😉

Tours to the Hahnenheide are definitely neglected here. The tour there is really worth it. The view is mega beautiful. Over the treetops you can look for miles in all directions and while you enjoy the break on the tower, let the wind rock you back and forth a little.
The tour went back on the old Glinde - Trittau railway line. Easy and quiet to drive. Not exciting, but relaxing. 🤗
As a reward there was also a delicious ice cream.

Sun, the urge to move around and the longing for a bit of water led to a short walk to Hamm today, to the Bullenhuser Canal. I didn't know what to expect on the small island and was very surprised when I realized that this is a huge allotment association. Mega. 🤩 I would also like to have a garden right on the canal. Sigh ...
The whole tour is quite relaxed and although it is in the city, very green and quiet. Ideal for a Sunday stroll.

Today we first took the Veloroute 8 to Bergedorf and from there straight on to the Vier- und Marschlande (including eating wild cherries 🍒).
This area is characterized by its incredibly beautiful nature, fruit growing and flower growing. Wide, green meadows, old half-timbered houses with thatched roofs behind the dike, colorful seas of flowers on the banks of the Dove-Elbe and centuries-old churches in Baroque style - this is how the Vier- und Marschlande present themselves.I can't get enough of this. A tour here never feels like you're still close to Hamburg. For me it's a vacation in a different world every time.

Today was the first time in the Seevetal (😍), the first time with the ferry from Hoopte to the Zollenspieker (😍) and the first time on the march railway embankment (😍).Honest folks, I highly recommend this tour. The Seevetal is really beautiful. The nature and this smell completely overwhelmed me. It was a feeling of summer, vacation, joy.The other side of the Elbe is also not stingy with wonderful impressions.
The Marschbahn embankment is a green tunnel surrounded by meadows. At Lake Boberger See you can take a short swim break in summer ... if you can find a place. It is always quite well attended. But it's also a nice place there. 🙃
