Today it was really only uphill or downhill. The route led over the mountain railway route to Müngsten and from there up to the tool route in Remscheid.
For the first time I was at the German Tool Museum in Hasten. Visiting the outdoor area is free of charge.
From the museum it went down to the Gelpe valley. The Gelpe Valley cannot be crossed at the moment due to flood damage. So I had to deviate from my planned route and, contrary to what I had planned, went up to Cronenberg.
I visited a memorial there. The small park there is very nicely laid out and is perfect for a break.
From Cronenberg it went down to the end of the museum train, tram line 5, via Greuel and the Naturfreundehaus down to Kohlfurth.
This route is technically quite demanding and more suitable for MTB.

Except for the corkscrew route, it was a very "wooded" round today. I drove through the Ittertal completely, from Blumenthal to Brucher Kotten.
The forest paths on this section are very beautiful, but also demanding, you should always keep an eye on the ground ...
The Jabergturm, in the Hildener Heide, is basically locked, but there is the possibility of borrowing the key for the ascent. I have attached a photo of the telephone number for more detailed information.

Today's tour mainly went up through the Wiembachtal, towards Burscheid. From there via the Balkan Terrace and Leichlingen back home.
I particularly liked the Lambertsmühle, should you be there in the vicinity, it is worth a detour.
All in all, it was a great tour that I can definitely recommend for cycling afterwards.
However, the forest path in Lev-Sporrenberg has been badly damaged by the flooding on the Wiembach. You should go around this piece at the moment, or you just slide in two small areas, that's how I did it.

The route ran through the Weltersbachtal up to the transmitter in Witzhelden. From there it went down to Glüder on MTB routes. Especially the District Administrator-Lukas-Weg, is for inexperienced cyclists, to be driven only with absolute caution, there is a risk of falling in some places!

The goal of today's round was the Altenberg Cathedral. Since Ritter Wulf had his drone in his luggage again, this time we can present you aerial photos of the cathedral, the water tower in Opldaden and the Esso gas station in Alkenrath. Especially the recordings from the cathedral turned out really great.

That was a really nice lap today with an "infinite" number of highlights on our route. In addition to my family, BlackCat was also in the "luggage".
We have "headed for" some new goals. We particularly liked the "Siebenschmerzweg", which is unfortunately quite short, but offers a great atmosphere.
The area at the Vodafone Tower is also worth a visit, there is a beautiful inner courtyard with many resting places - at the weekend it is deserted ...
All hell was going on on the Kö today, I've never seen it there so crowded and that there was "something for free" you can safely rule out ...

A visit to the "Classic Remise" in Düsseldorf has been on my "to-do list" for a long time.
On today's family round it was finally time and I was really excited. Here you can marvel at a really great selection of rare and extremely expensive luxury cars. I had never seen many of the bodies on display "live" before.
I would like to give you a thumbs up for the "Classic Remise" and I can absolutely recommend a visit.
It is particularly gratifying that no entry is required.

Today's tour went around the Selenter and Dobersdorfer See. The search for the "Eiskeller von Dobersdorf" was particularly tricky, as I passed it umpteen times ... The position of the highlight is absolutely correct, but it is very hidden, on a small hill.

After almost 20 kilometers I wondered why I didn't get any navigation announcements from Komoot. No wonder, I just forgot to start the app at the start😴😴😴.
Otherwise it was a nice tour, with the best weather. The Trabi in the lake at Martensrade was particularly interesting. Equipped with an outboard motor, it was converted into a motor boat, could be unique in the world ...
