We didn't really have high demands on today's tour: Just "get out". We optimize the approach and start at the pretty field stone church in Deutsch-Wusterhausen, a district of Königs Wusterhausen. From there we want to go to Bestensee and Komoot leads us through the middle - but it fits somehow and via Zeesen we finally reach the pretty community. And to our great delight, a café has also reopened, where we have had breakfast several times. So put your mask on and put it in.Strengthened in this way, we drive out of town a good three quarters of an hour later. Some drivers would like to keep a few inches more distance - apparently some are in a hurry to get to their weekend cottage or are just annoyed. We reach Motzen and admire the pretty little baroque church that, to our great delight, is open and welcomes guests. Nothing like in.Then it goes out of the place again and over a moderately developed bike path to Töpchin. We turn west and climb the Jägersberg-Schirnknitzberg nature reserve, which we "hiked" this winter. We didn't discover the pretty little lake (thanks to the komoot users!) And are taking another break here.Via Klausdorf we head in the direction of Sperenberg, the threatened closure of the road is only for cars, because we can easily pass the construction site with the bicycles. We reach the Boden-Geo-Path, an educational trail that provides information about brick production from days gone by here in the region and is very instructive - but not for bicycles. Some fallen trees are in the way and we drag the bikes under them. But we in the community of Am Mellensee are amazed that even after a good two years in which we have not been here, the roads are still so bad ;-)Well ... there is plenty going on here, because many families are on their way to the lido. We move on to the Notte Canal, where some anglers try their luck. And there is also a lot going on on the draisine route. Some families take the opportunity for a relaxing excursion in the region. We cross Zossen, wonder why there is still no bike path here and branch off to Schöneiche-Plan. We make our way to Mittenwalde on a secret path and are rewarded with a wonderful field of sunflowers. Just gorgeous. Then it goes through the small town and via Ragow back to the starting point. Just get out, don't see anything in particular and enjoy the landscape. All of this with warm and humid temperatures that shot up faster than expected. In addition, at the end there was a strong easterly wind, which should actually come from the south-east - no matter. Just get out ...

Whether it is the weather change or the age (* g), the bones are somehow tired today, but the weaker self wants to be overcome. So we jump on the bike anyway and do a normal lap at very pleasant temperatures again. The warmth is on its way, it should become more volatile again. We'll see...

After the numerous hikes over the past few days, it is time to return to the usual cycling routine. After a break on yesterday, we are now on our usual tour, which is a real pleasure at a fresh 14 ° C after the heat of the weekend. There's not much going on either - the holiday season sends its regards.

The visit is "on the go" again, but it is well known that there is always time for a hike ;-)This time, however, it only goes until just before the gates of the city and only for a small round. It brings us to Neu-Zittau, a district of the municipality of Gosen right on the city limits. From the pretty church it is only a few meters to the nature reserve Wernsdorfer See.There is a designated circular route that leads through the NSG. One of the highlights is certainly the narrow footbridge between the Oder-Spree Canal and the Wernsdorfer See, which you have to walk down here. That way we can get back quickly and safely.

We start a little outside of Wildenbruch, a district of the Michendorf municipality in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. The pretty village is mostly overcrowded anyway, so they have created their own parking lot at the gates of the village, which is ideal for our starting point. We move in a north-easterly direction on the pilgrim path into the Saarmunder terminal moraine. Numerous "mountains" await us there, that is, elevations that we want to climb step by step. We also completed this tour a few months ago on a trial basis and found it to be "good".The landscape shaped by the Ice Age is dominated by numerous small gorges that have dug into the pine forests. After the Ziebchenberg with a height of 81 meters, we climb the Ofenberg with 91 meters. Phew At these temperatures, it is quite a sweaty affair. This is followed by alternating further elevations, which, however, gradually turn out to be lower: The 78 m high Grämitzberge, the 63 m high Stertberg and the Fichtenberg, which we also circle around. Now the path meets the Ortolan circular path. We have not yet met this species of bird from the Ammern family in the spring. We don't really get to see it either, but at least it makes itself audible. On the other hand, the sometimes "head-high" grain stalks that grow here in the region are worth seeing. We can hardly imagine that they are used for agriculture. Maybe it's an old variety that is cultivated here? We don't know and move on through the landscape in search of a shady resting place. There aren't too many of them here and the few that we pass are already occupied.Shortly after the Krähenberg (47 m) we are lucky and take a short break near the Schafgraben. Nice here, also the endless sunflower fields before it goes on the way back. This leads us past the Katzwinkel to Kähnsdorfer and finally to the Großer Seddiner See, which is frequented by plenty of bathers. We return to the village, but have no luck in the restaurant (everything is full) and so we go straight back home.

Hiking day number two takes us in the opposite direction to the Oder-Spree district. We start on a large parking lot, which is located at the eastern exit of Erkner directly on the Löcknitz. From here it is only a few meters to the Leistikowweg, which leads us to the Wupatzsee. We have already hiked this tour in the spring and are also amazed at how overgrown the lake is now. In a few places you can still look at the surface and admire the water lilies.Afterwards there are plenty of photo opportunities, because we are in the beautiful NSG Löcknitztal, which is simply delighted with the landscape - if you have enough mosquito repellent with you. Because there is not much going on and apparently we are a welcome breakfast here for the "critters" who want to attack us. We cross the Löcknitz and the oxbow lake and walk on narrow paths to the frog bridge. It runs under the federal motorway and takes its name from four large frog sculptures that Julius Starcke once created and which are now waiting for hikers. Continue on the southern path along the Löcknitz, past the Gottesbrück residential area to Grünheide (Mark). Simply wonderful and maybe even a little bit to be compared with the dream paths that we otherwise have wandered off occasionally in the "West".We reach the small community and take a short break at the town hall. A few raindrops don't bother us, because for today there was already light continuous rain announced, of which we have not noticed anything so far. Then we move on to the Rüdersdorfer Heide. First in the western part, we then cross the motorway again and hike through an eastern section. Below the Kranichsberg we reach the Flakensee in Woltersdorf and with it the Löcknitz again. There is plenty of gastronomy available here, which allows another break. The further way back then leads us on the eastern bank of the Flankensee along a campsite and finally back to the starting point on the Löcknitz.

We have visitors, so the bikes stay connected and the hiking boots are unpacked. It goes to Blankensee, a district of the city of Trebbin in the Teltow-Fläming district. We park right in the center of the village at a well-known parking lot in the shade. That is also necessary, because for today "full of sun" is announced, which will accompany us on the tour around the Blankensee.First of all, it goes straight out of the place again. We walk past the village church, which is simple on the outside but magnificently furnished on the inside, in single file on an asphalt road to Stücken in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. Lots of traffic, kind of a shame, but that's the part of the FlämingWalk that we chose today and that we tried out in March. In pieces it goes on a paved path to the south and finally into the core zone of the nature park. It's muggy and warm here and the sun burns as hard as it gets.In any case, the warm and humid weather was good for nature, because everything is green and in bloom. No comparison to March, when the dirt road into the core zone was still easily accessible. We fight our way through, this time again not looking for the Slavic castle wall, but walking on towards Körzin. In the small village, a large tree in the shade is ideal for a first break. We earned it before we headed for a stretch of the cycle path to Nieplitz and finally back to the TF district. At the village church it goes slightly uphill and on the Mühlenberg on a beautiful, albeit sandy path with plenty of insects in a north-easterly direction back to Blankensee. Approximately in the middle of the route, the Schinderberg offers another resting place. At a slight elevation, you have a great view of Blankensee and the Blankensee from here. And we're still sitting in the shade ;-)Via the Seeblick residential area, we return to the eastern part of the route, which officially runs along the country road. We walk a little further west and make a detour until we reach the town center again. We linger a little on the Bohlenweg, get some fresh fish in town and then we go home again.

During the night, strong thunderstorms swept across the country, but did not really cool off. In the morning it is "soupy-warm", but that doesn't stop us from doing our usual round. However, the worm is included in the recording - the app must have hung up for the first time shortly after it was started. Then she ran for a while, only to have slept again for reasons unknown to me. Somehow the worm was in there - luckily only in the recording. We came home safe and sound. Tomorrow the app might get another chance ;-)
