We have taken on the 1st stage of the new Hohe-Mark-Steig. The starting point is the Auesee car park. The hike led us along the beautiful Auesee, through bizarre forests, a high moor and fields as well as village places. Overall very varied. Unfortunately there is also a point deduction. The connection…
The first 6 km are very nice, always along the water. Then it goes up into the forest. Unfortunately, a section has overgrown. From km 8 you can only see cleared forest, really depressing what the bark beetle and the drought of recent years have caused there.
