Saalbach 2021 🇦🇹🤟

Today we took the gondola up in Saalbach and rode the Panorama and MontiTrail. Easily navigable even with a hardtail. Then it went on towards Hinterglemm and the HöllenTrail opened up. A nice rooty trail that is also easy to drive on. Finally, we discovered the WetterkreuzTrail. Out of the way, but also… voir plus

Today we did a little round over the Glemmtal Weg towards Zell am See and Sigmund Thun Klamm. On the way back, I took the MaisiFlitzer (summer toboggan run) with me. We ended the day in Zell am See with a delicious meal. Saalbach, Zell am See and Kaprun are always worth a trip in summer.

This morning we took the train up again in Saalbach and then took the PanoramaRoute towards Leogang. The long descent to Leogang is highly recommended. Then in Leogang up with the gondola and stopped at the "Alte Schmiede" (one of my favorite huts). Finally, a nice long descent to Hinterglemm including a brake pad change.

In the morning we drove a piece of the Panorama Trail. Then it went straight to the Panorama Route. The paths were great to drive and we have never driven such a long descent in one go. Fantastic! In Zell am See we had a good time at the lake and stopped for a short (or longer) time ... The way back… voir plus

Today we didn’t ride our bikes but wore hiking boots. Breathtaking views, many root paths and an excellent pizza in the old smithy rounded off the day. But the demanding descent gave us the rest. Are now properly exhausted and enjoy the hiking beer after work. cheers

Today completed the first small tour in Saalbach. Sometimes had to carry the bike over the entrances and outsmart various willow fences. Tomorrow it goes to the summit and then the first trails downhill
