Maintenant, il y a aussi des photos du tour. C'était une occasion triste, mais si agréable de revoir les frères et sœurs. La météo plus que modeste, pluie et surtout très orageuse. Je pouvais à peine tenir mon téléphone portable dans le château, donc seulement quelques photos.

The poor blocked posts for the Eifel tourists froze their feet off, but well, except for Dutch people and a few Cologne residents who didn't know about their bad luck, there were mostly only AC license plates on the road.

Since we were on the road early and covered the side streets on foot, we had no… voir plus

To say it in advance:

When Radelflizzi and I are out and about ... a planned hike may turn into a photo session! We had these circumstances today.



In Simonskall the planned tour was in the shade and we missed the snow. There simply wasn't one! 😱 In return, gorgeous… voir plus

Radelflizzi and I met at the said parking lot to drive to Simonskall .... (Part 2 today).



It was so amazingly beautiful up there that we spontaneously decided to take a walk here first. Said and done. A wonderful winter landscape with wonderful weather lay ahead of us. 🤩

Today the snow came to the front door. It has snowed all day long. We were not far from the forest between Rott and Lammersdorf. It was very muddy at the ditch, including sliding and climbing; the forest paths on the way back, on the other hand, ran well in almost untouched snow.

There was some fresh snow in the Eifel last night, nice! But for today the big thawing is announced ... so drove to the Puschen and Lammersdorf early, first stop in Schneifel :-)

Okay, I didn't expect super fog. Nevertheless, or precisely because of that, it was very atmospheric and so early we were alone… voir plus

Finally !! 🤩 Small snow tour in the Eifel with the best husband of all 😉

Got up at 7 a.m. (usually 7 a.m.) and left for Mützenich at 8 a.m. Wonderful silence because everyone was still slumbering! Ronnie was completely overjoyed in the soft, high snow.

A varied tour that included everything that delighted our hikers and we liked very much! 😄

Over narrow paths uphill and past rocks ... over the expanse of the Dreiborn plateau with a lot of snow on almost untouched paths and a lot of stomping, also against the wind, through dark fir and then into the… voir plus

Hopefully you won't get bored with all the photos, but it was the most beautiful tour in the snowy Eifel in a long time!

When did we have so much snow? Long ago...

I could have run for hours if my stupid leg hadn't hurt so much again!

I drove to no man's land in Kesternich ... and yeah, no people; We only met them in the Tiefenbach valley! It was a totally relaxed hike in great weather on easily accessible forest paths without bulky fallen trees and with a beautiful view! A little bit down and up in the Eifel… voir plus

I don't need to write anything big here, the tour was just beautiful; varied landscape, paths and beautiful animal encounters. We had NO human contact, great weather - it worked. The photos - there are many - speak for themselves! 🤗

We were looking for peace and shade ...

and lo and behold, we found both!

Apart from the heights around Huppenbroich, the tour was actually shady ... and hardly anyone was on the road. Is it Pentecost because everyone went away after Corona lifted the restriction? We do not know it.

In Roetgen, where I had something to do, it is just as beautiful on the right and left along the Weser as in the popular landscape of Eschbach and Steinbach.

However, since the route is somewhat short, we extended the hike through the Belgian forest. If you like loneliness and desolation ... and the tingling… voir plus

Komoot doesn't want me today! First it got me out of the tour, then it didn't want to upload my pictures ... grrr.

Anyway, it was a wonderful tour with Silke and her girls! I didn't know that there was such a great landscape in Nideggen, with rocks and views, so far only knew the gastronomy 🤣🍺!

Pleasure tour, sun but cold wind - stand, look, take photos ... so it happened that I had to deviate from the planned route because it got dark too early. Therefore (+ sun optimization) we partly went back the same way. Of course, Komoot doesn't understand that and messed up the photos 🙃. But it doesn… voir plus

What a wonderful day! I was traveling with Radelflizzi in the Eifel. Experience has shown that the wind always whistles violently on the Dreiborn plateau, just like today; but blue sky, not too warm, great view, so great!



If I have to rate the route, I have to say "senior friendly", because it was mostly… voir plus

A tour with beautiful views towards Rursee (if the weather is right)! The starting point was the parking lot at the sports field (signposted). It is not worth taking the path towards Schilsbachtal / Er Höll for the view given in Komoot; they don't exist or what do the signs mean?

A tour worth seeing and recommendable (with a corresponding number of photos) 🙈. Actually it was too warm, there is not much shade, so better start early.

The regular route is called Panoramaweg Bergstein and has the number 15 .... we modified it a bit according to Ronnie's needs and… voir plus

Sorry, sometimes something comes in between 🤗 ... that's why yesterday's tour was only possible today!

The afternoon started cloudy, but then it turned into a wonderful day ☀️.
