Jura Höhenweg 2021

A good 8 hours on the way with only short breaks of max. 10 minutes.

The Lägerngrat is beautiful. The prerequisites are a head for heights and surefootedness. It has no rope to hold on to and it is sometimes very exposed.

A detour to the Walhalla Grotto is worthwhile. The beautiful viewpoint with seating… voir plus

The 14 curves up to the high point at Creux du Van were less strenuous than expected. Thanks to the mixed weather, the viewpoints were not overcrowded. From km 10.6 to 13.2 you have to walk along the road, which is not really attractive. The last part is then again over the Jura pastures and through… voir plus

Aujourd'hui, j'ai terminé la dernière étape du Jura Höhenweg. C'est une longue étape. La montée est en partie raide, mais il y a aussi des passages plus agréables.

Si vous avez de la chance, vous découvrirez des colonies de chamois sur La Dôle. Une expérience merveilleuse.

Today was my first hike with more than 1000 m. In addition, it should be a 2-day tour. Unfortunately, a section is currently closed due to falling rocks. So there were a few more hm. Fog, light rain, gray and only a few rays of sunshine accompanied me until noon. Due to the rain in the night, the ground was wet and therefore marshy and slippery. The ascent and descent to the Hasenmatt required more energy. Although the funny conversations with the people almost made up for it… voir plus

About 50 minutes were not recorded. So total time about 4 1/2 hours.
