Landkreis Coburg

The Querkelsteinweg itself begins at the "Alte Henne" in Hohenstein and is 3 km long. Since we wanted to walk a little more, we started from the hiking car park on the B303 above v Schafhof. We could not go through the circular route today, because a part of it was closed due to logging work.

We were in Weißenbrunn in front of the forest today to take a look at the sinter terraces that I read about recently. We started directly in the village, which was not so advantageous, because we had already reached the actual highlight after 5 minutes and you don't need to look around at the terraces… voir plus
