Samos

A beautiful hike that demands surefootedness.

In between, you will be rewarded again with beautiful views over the green Aegean Sea.

The micros Seitani beach is located in a small bay and invites you to swim right away.

Short hike but exhausting walk around the hotel and then to the beach.

This morning it was cloudy and windy, instead of the beach, we started the tour.

It went uphill and then the sun came through the clouds

After a nice beach day we still wanted to run.

From 16 clock it was a bit cold from the wind.

In Kokkari bought our supper, and looked over Komoot a tour.

Wanted to be in the room before dark (from about 19:30 o'clock it gets dark)

La montée jusqu'à Stavrimedes était très raide, ce qui est bon pour les mollets et les cuisses.

Vous serez toujours récompensé par des vues magnifiques.

De Stavrimedes à Manolates, cela monte et descend (un bon entraînement cardiovasculaire).

Should only be a small circular walk, as we have not seen the short short ascents or descents in the height profile, which has become a bit longer.

But no matter, it was definitely worth it.

Tour started in Vourliotes at the parking lot (signposted), via Manolates. We took the V2 which later went into… voir plus

A short tour, with great cooling.

Was our first hike on Samos.

The paths begin in concrete, then become paved paths.

From Vourliotes to Kokkari it is mostly gravel paths.

Sturdy footwear is a must.

We liked the tour very much, because it is so rustic and natural. On the way we met only 2 hikers.
