NOTES:
* The main road between Pokhara and Kathmandu is currently under construction and is a mess of dirt and traffic and is not recommended to cycle. Catching a bus is easy enough and the bikes go on top.
* There is also the road between Bharatpur and Bardaghat which is also under construction and is just dirt. Easy to hitchhike with the help of a truck driver.Nepalese immigration is easy enough with a visa on arrival and is a stark contrast in comparison with India, which is a bureaucratic nightmare! Make sure you have crisp US dollars (i.e. new) with which to pay for the visa otherwise, you will be charged a high commission to pay in other currencies.Using ATMs will incur a large fee, so best to take out large amounts of money. For the same reason try to change any money before entering.People are nice and accommodating for cyclists. Wild camping is possible but can be difficult in certain areas, especially around national parks where tigers and leopards are known to be present. In some cases where a road passes through the national parks you might be put on a lorry/bus to pass through before being allowed to continue your journey.Lastly:
