Just a few hours after my orbit in Berlin, it was clear that I wanted to go into another orbit.

In view of all sorts of other projects, the question was: when? On Saturday and Sunday I don't want to share the paths with other weekenders. So I had the orbit Saxony Anhalt for Friday the 21st of August… voir plus

Moderate introductory tour in the Harz Mountains to get used to the altitude meters carefully.

At one point the water of the Bode was too high and too strong to cross it safely. A little detour was necessary. Otherwise, the increasing bare former forest areas frighten the inexperienced Harz visitor again… voir plus

Today a few kilometers but a few more meters in altitude and back to the rain in Wernigerode.

Are only almost up to the Brocken, up to 900 meters above sea level, I'm taking care of myself for tomorrow 😊

However, on the descent to Wernigerode there was still a rather squalid path with a lot of rubble… voir plus

The Harz orbit will pass the house of my brother and his wife this year - if that wasn't an invitation to tackle this one after the two orbits close to Berlin!

Alone: I miss the altitude routine - in Berlin and the surrounding area it is difficult to do anything.

The attempt to get coffee and tea in Schönebeck on Saturday morning failed - even at the graduation tower in Bad Salzelmen: dead pants!

Without breakfast or hot drinks we drove into the field to find an Asian restaurant with a covered outdoor area in the courtyard shortly before 12 in Barby - it was raining… voir plus

Il va d'abord au Glücksburger Heide, qui est déjà en Saxe-Anhalt - il y a juste une heure de vélo sans asphalte ni circulation automobile.



La prochaine destination est Elster sur l'Elbe : à votre santé !

De là, il passe par la piste cyclable de l'Elbe, qui nous est en partie inutile, jusqu'à Wittenberg… voir plus

Eva est à Leipzig et j'en profite pour partir tôt : peu après 6h30, j'attends à Lichterfelde-Ost le RE4 pour Wittenberg. Mais il ne peut pas être si tôt que le train n'ait pas déjà été en retard. Après tout, cela ne dure que quelques minutes.

Hier, j'ai parcouru des tronçons entre Wittenberg et Dessau que j'avais déjà parcourus en sens inverse en 2019 avec Eva et une amie, toujours sans système de navigation sur nos vieux vélos. L'enregistrement provient du passager.
