Clever travelers travel from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea because the wind pushes with them. If that's too soft, you can cycle straight from Brunsbüttel to Kiel - with 120-130 km it is within the range of what is feasible.

... that's the lousy trick - Brunsbüttel has been down for 13 years, but the hotel's second neighbor is the Brokdorf nuclear power plant, which is likely to run for another 1.5 years - no chance!
