Along the Rhine to Marienfels Castle. Through the Unkelbachtal with the Calmuth Castle to the ostrich farm. Through the fields over hill and dale to the Marienkapelle with a great view of the Ahr valley below the Landskrone. Then via Bad Neuenahr, Grafschaft, Wachtberg towards home.

Without a destination in beautiful weather along the banks of the Rhine to the mouth of the Ahr behind Kripp. Back a little round through Remagen. Then back home with a tail wind.

Quickly made a Sunday lap. Set off in sunshine and blue skies and came home in the pouring rain with a thunderstorm.
