A great tour that feels like a vacation day. The paths in the Lutzhorn Forest are more varied and technically somewhat more demanding than “normal” forest paths in the area. And you only meet a few people. The lakes in Heidmoor are almost magical, a clear recommendation for people who like moorland…
The route is a shortened version of the Komoot tour "Mounty-route-Beautiful way along the moor round from Hochkamp", I have adapted it to my fitness level and started at the hiking car park of the Holmer Sandberge.
