Large parking lot at the 1st mill when coming from Salzburg. From here I initially followed the hiking sign clockwise, so you have the highlight, the waterfall, at the end of the tour. The signage is sometimes a bit confusing if you don't know your way around, as there are many ways to other destinations…

I actually wanted to go to the Postalm today. Since the toll road was closed, I opted for Strobl and St. Wolfgang and have not regretted it. The landscape and the colors of the lake are simply fantastic and you can hardly see enough. The picturesque St. Wolfgang was very quiet and we took several breaks…

The straight line is the hiking trail. After my break, I once again forgot to continue the route.😬 I had to shorten across a meadow to avoid a herd of cows. The hiking trail continues across the meadow and is also marked!

I wanted to try another way back, but got stuck with the blocked waterfall. The former old prison at the waterfall is now a museum and can also be easily reached on foot from the farm in a few meters along the main road.
Une belle tournée, l'année dernière, je voulais faire une tournée similaire, mais je me suis ensuite retrouvé coincé dans la neige car il avait beaucoup neigé les jours précédents.
